What can african americans put on their face to fade dark spots and hypigmentation?
It depends on what is causing the dark spots. Over the counter bleaching creams (fading creams) containing hydroquinone can be used for certain types of spots. They don’t work for many other types though and should be used for limited periods of time.
Other spots may not respond and will need evaluation by a board certified dermatologist for treatment options.
