Hi, My gums bleed a tiny amount while brushing. What could be the reason. Is it a disorder, or related to brush, etc? Please help. Thanks.
Bleeding generally is a sign of inflammation. Trauma from brushing and bleeding because of this trauma is possible but is not seen everywhere. It is generally located where the trauma is. Depending on when you had a professional dental cleaning, you may need one. We generally recommend to have check-up and cleaning every 3 or 6 months based on patient's oral hygiene performance at home.
