Can I just stop taking my High Blood Pressure mediences with out any complications, the (2) medicenes or Benicar HCT 40 and Atenolol 24 mg
If your blood pressure is well controlled on these two medications (Benicar and atenolol), it is probably best to continue them. High blood pressure is generally not curable, and therapy has to be life-long.
A patients' physical condition can change with time. For that reason it is important to have the blood pressure checked periodically (about every 4 to 6 months in a stable patient), and medications sometimes have to be adjusted. However, you should not stop these medications without your doctor's advice.
