Pancreatic Cancer |

To further define my question on life expectency when the whippel was performed 8 lymph nodes were removed and 4 of the 8 had cancer, so what does this do to life expencety with and without chemo?
Median survival of all patients with resected pancreas cancer is around 18 months. Patients having lymph nodes positive is less than that by 2-3 months. Chemotherapy given after surgery improves survival by 2-4 months.
