Problem with male repro. hygiene common?08/15/2007 |
My son is 3 and uncircumcised. When he was younger we had no problem with hygiene. But now he strongly resists us retracting his foreskin to clean it, as if it`s uncomfortable. We give him the option to do it himself, but he refuses. Is this a common problem? Is it possible that it really does hurt him to retract his foreskin?

Yes, it may be difficult to clean if his foreskin is tight and does not retract easily. For now, I would just clean what is easy to see and avoid soap around the tip of the penis.
