I`m planning to get pregnant, and recently i was given doxycycline 50 mg to treat my acne. Is it safe knowing that i`m planning to get pregnant? thanx very much for the answer..
Doxycycline is best avoided during pregnancy. The biggest risk is in the second and third trimester where it can cause damage the developing bones and teeth.
