I have had two different opinions about my daughter`s braces. One orthodontist wants to pull one tooth on the top and the other wants to use the damon system and not pull any teeth. One also recommends seeing a peridontist to expose a tooth that has not erupted yet. Any ideas??
It is almost impossible to answer your questions given the information provided. I would suggest going to the nearest ADA accredited orthodontic training program in your area or seeking the opinion of a Board Certified orthodontist in your area. I can tell you that the type of braces used has nothing to do with the need for extraction.
