Painful Bowel movement09/06/2007 |
For the past 6 - 9 months my husband (age 40) has had problems with bowel movements. When he does attempt to use the restroom, it is painful, long and there is a considerable amount of blood in the toilet bowl.
It may be due to an anal problem like a fissure (a tear) but he should definitely be seen by a physician and should probably have a colonoscopy.
