36 weeks pregnant blood and mucas in stool09/06/2007 |
I am 36 weeks pregnant and just noticed a large amount of blood and mucas in my stool, the stool was a buche of balls held together by the blood and mucas... is this from the pressure of the baby or should I be worried?
It is common for women to develop hemorrhoids during pregnancy which can bleed. I would advise you , however, to talk to your obstetrician about your recent symptoms. Other questions they may ask -- are you having diarrhea? fevers? abdominal pain?
