PSA Tests After Prostatits Treatment10/12/2007 |
If prostatitis is treated by medications, how long after treatment ends should the PSA test be given again? I read on the internet anywhere from 6-8 weeks after treatment, yet my urologist said to get tested immediately after treatment. Thank you.
There is no exact time period that the PSA should be rechecked. It should be rechecked after the prostatitis has resolved.
