Second molars09/24/2007 |
When do toddlers get their second molars? My 21-month-old is so fussy all of a sudden and he is sticking his fingers in his mouth a lot. Is he getting his second molars?
It's very likely that your child is erupting his second primary molars at 21 months of age. This is not too early for him to have an oral examination to answer this and any other questions you might have. Pediatric dentists begin seeing babies around their first birthday to address issues like this.
