Body shapers09/19/2007 |
I was recently diagnosed with superficial and deep vein insufficiency in my right thigh and right groin. Would wearing a body shaper that stops mid-thigh, or below the knee, help or hender circulation?
A body shaper which stops mid-thigh would potentially put more pressure on the vein valves and make it worse. Knee high compression stockings would be helpful for any leg pain or swelling. I would also suggest a full evaluation of your vein valves by having your doctor order a venous reflux study of the veins in your legs. Best of luck!
