About 2 months ago I was diagnosed with candidiais. After about 2 weeks of taking ketonocazole I changed my diet, and also started taking probiotics. Since then my stool is always very loose. I have also noticed mucous in my stool a few times. Can a diet cause this? Is the mucous the candida dying?
Stool consistency may change when taking antibiotics and also more mucous production with antibiotics. It should gradually improve over the next month or so.
