Arthritis and Rheumatism

Do I have arthritis or fibromyalgia

09/21/2007

Question:

I was told 8 months ago I have fibromyalgia, but my symptoms differ a good deal from the norm. My 2nd to last toe on my foot has been very painful all this time as well as my jaw joints, left ankle, and one pointer finger. How wierd is this? Now my painful toes is moving towards the pinkie toe with a noticable space. I`m confused and frustrated please help!

Answer:

While the pain in your feet may be related to the fibromyalgia, it may also be caused my something unrelated. I would advise you to have this examined by a podiatrist or foot care specialist to make sure.
