What is a knee function test?
I am totally unable to squat down and get up. What does a doctor do in a knee function test? The doctor had me sit on the examining table and raise my lower leg as he pushed against my ankle. Then he had me lower my leg as he pulled up on my ankle. I had no trouble doing this, and he said "there is nothing wrong with your knees." Did he do the right test? Are there any are other tests he could do? He would not let me kneel down and show him that I could not get up.
Evaluating this problem may sometimes require more tests than the ones you describe. It all depends on the details of the history and other aspects of the exam.
