Vascular Surgery |
Varicose veins10/02/2007 |
My fiance has varicose veins in his left leg. He had vein stripping surgery when he was a young teenager, which is about 20 years ago. He just developed a bruise behind his knee. He has no pain. Is this something to be concerned about?
This may likely be from recurrent leaky valves in the veins. Support or compression stockings can help. If these do not help, I would urge him to see a vascular surgeon who specializes in veins.Best of luck!
