10/02/2007

Question:

I have had the venus reflux test and it showed insufficiency in the deep and superficial in my thigh and groin in one leg,my Dr. said a valve was sprung. My question is would knee highs help just as well as compression Chaps or pantyhose beings the problems is so far up my leg?

Thanks again

Answer:

Knee highs can help as the lower legs are often where people with venous insufficiency experience the most discomfort. Give them a try in the 15-20 mmHg weight range. Good Luck!
