I have pain in my lower abdomen on the right and left side. I also have pain in my left hip (severe at times) I am 51, had a D&C in Jan. for heavy bleeding. I am spotting each month still. Can these symptoms be related to menopause and the hormone changes that go with it, and what can be done to relieve the hip pain?
Pain is not a feature of menopause. A few women have more joint aches and pains at menopause, but a single joint pain would be less common. Hip pain can be many things. It is important to discuss your symptoms with your physician.
