Rinsing10/12/2007 |
How important is rinsing after eating and how long should rinsing be and if you rinse very briefly much after eating will this have an impact on the health of the teeth?Thank You.
It does help to flush any remaining food particles that could sit on the teeth and help facilitate decay. It doesn’t have to be for a set amount of time, but is most helpful within 20 minutes of eating. Chewing a sugarless gum can also help cleanse the tooth surface.
