Tooth pressure10/15/2007 |
Hello,My orthodontist said I`d feel pressure on teeth that would be moving. The teeth we had planned to move are sensitive... But so are a few other teeth. Should I be worried about these `other` teeth? (`Other` teeth are ones we -don`t- want to move).

Don't worry about it. Whenever you move some teeth, the anchor teeth - or the ones you say the orthodontist was trying not to move - are still involved with the process. As long as the pressure is not excessive you should be fine. Please ask your orthodontist this question so he can evaluate the pressures.
