Abcess tooth or sinus10/15/2007 |
I have been dealing with a lot of sinus problems lately, drainage etc. I woke up one morning to a swollen mouth the ER doctor said it is an abcessed tooth and gave me antibiotic and darvocet for pain. What can I do to reduce the swelling?
The antibiotic and time will help reduce the swelling. However, you will continue to have recurrences of this problem until you have root canal treatment or an extraction. I would recommend that you seek dental care for an evaluation as soon as possible.
