Wearing your retainer10/18/2007 |
My braces were removed back in 2004, and of course I recieved a retainer. I have the ones you can take in and out. I still wear mine every night while I`m sleeping as of now, should I continue to wear them? I`m afraid of my teeth moving if I stop wearing them. Also do they ever becoming impossible to wear(like becoming too dirty)? Thanks!
If I were you, I would continue to wear them. Teeth have a tendency to shift throughout life. If they get too bad, like glasses, you can have new ones made for a small investment. It's kind of like an insurance policy.
