Fluctuating blood pressure, low pulse, dizzy10/27/2007 |
my husband is 71 and is having fluctuating blood pressure 191/101, 181/100, very low pulse rate 36-44, & dizzy what is this?
Blood pressures in the range you describe are a reason for concern. The same has to be said about a heart rate of 36 to 44. Your husband needs an complete physical evaluation, and probably a series of tests of his heart, his kidneys and of the circulation to his brain. He needs to see a doctor as soon as possible.
