Red bumps on upper legs

Question:

I have a few red bumps on my upper legs. They do not itch. There is one bigger, one is round; it looks like a red ring. Kind of like a small ringworm. But it does not itch. What should I put on it?

Answer:

It is very difficult to say as there are hundreds of causes of red bumps on the lower extremities. If good skin care and use of moisturizers is not helping, I would advise seeing a physician. Over the counter antifungals may be tried if that's your suspicion.
