Arthritis and Rheumatism

Is "The Center For Regenerative Medicine- Miami B" Helpful for Treatment?

11/13/2007

Question:

Have you heard of this center that treats osteoarthritis by noninvasive techniques. I have osteoarthritis (bone on bone) in my knee and this sounds like a great fix. Is this too good to be true?

Answer:

The Center for Regenerative Medicine is researching treatment of osteoarthritis using stem cells. However, the research is in clinical trial stages if at all and the treatment is not available for regular use. I'm not sure what you mean by "noninvasive" techniques.
