Frequent nose bleeding11/14/2007 |
I have not had many nose bleeds in my life until this month. I have had about eight total before this year. I’m 20 now so that should create a picture. I have had about twelve to sixteen in the last month. I don’t know what’s causing them, but they are out of the same nostril every time. I don’t use drugs, but I drink maybe once a week, if even that. Thanks.
Nose bleeds can be a reflection of a local problem or represent an unexpected bleeding problem. Patients should be seen by an ear nose and throat specialist, and if no local problem is noted, a workup for abnormal bleeding should be initiated.
