Elbow11/14/2007 |
I had golfers elbow for awhile now. It has got worse now the condition is moving in the upper arm and lower arm to the wrist. the shoulder aslo hurts to now. Also can not grip much and aches alot could you tell me what the condition could be or at least some information on it.
To accurately assess and diagnose your condition, I would recommend that you seek care and examination by a physician who can accurately diagnose your condition and prescribe an appropriate treatment plan. That being said, pain in the distribution you describe can be caused by many different things.
Wrist pain originating from carpal tunnel or tendinitis can radiate pain into the upper arm.
Golfer's or Tennis elbow can radiate pain into the wrist.
Shoulder arthritis, rotator cuff injuries or tendinitis can radiate pain down into the arm/hand or into the neck.
A pinched nerve in the neck can cause pain and radiate into the elbow and hand.
There are many possible locations for the pain you are having and examination and diagnostic testing can help to sort this out and determine the best course of treatment.
I hope this helps.
