Cervix removal11/17/2007 |
I am 30 and going to have a hyterectomy in a couple weeks. My doctor asked if I wanted to remove my cervix and I don`t know if I should. I have never had any children.
There are pros and cons to not removing your cervix. If you feel that sexual pleasure depends on having your cervix bumped with intercourse, you may want to keep it. Most women do not particularly notice that. Keeping it means there is still a chance of getting cancer of the cervix if you acquire the human papilloma virus from a sexual partner.
