Dental and Oral Health (Children)

Underbites

11/26/2007

Question:

My 14 month old daughter has an underbite now, does that mean she will have an underbite with her permanent teeth? When she smiles hard, it is noticeable.

Answer:

It isn't possible to comment on the way your daughter's teeth meet without an exam. Pediatric dentists are trained to manage these problems, and I recommend that you have your daughter examined by one.
