What is the average life ecpectancy for someone diagnosed with PH?

The life expectancy for patients with pulmonary hypertension depends on many factors, including the type of pulmonary hypertension and the severity of the disease at the time of diagnosis. Idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH) is the best described type of PH. For this group of patients, the median survival without treatment in one study was 2.8 years. However, it appears that treatment with available medications likely improves survival for this group of patients.
Again, the life expectancy will vary depending on multiple factors including the type of pulmonary hypertension and the severity of disease at the time it is diagnosed.
