Naproxen/Tylenol together
11/26/2007 |
Question:
If I take one 500mg Naproxen twice daily for inflamation, but it is not controlling pain all that well, is it OK to take 1 or 2 EXTRA STRENGTH Tylenol at different times?
Answer:
Naproxen and Acetaminophen (the ingredient in Tylenol and Tylenol Extra Strength) are compatible drugs. The two drugs can be taken at the same time.
Talk to your doctor about your plan to take acetaminophen to be sure it is the best therapy for you.
