Pain goes away?11/26/2007 |
I have a crowned tooth that experienced pain upon chewing with it. The pain was intense for a day or so and now it has completely gone. Saw dentist and dentist advised possible root canal if pain did not correct itself.
So since pain has gone is it safe to ignore tooth unless pain re occurs? I heard that tooth roots may calcify and tooth ma have to be removed if ignored for the long term. Advice please. Thanks
If the pain went away, the most reasonable approach is to do nothing unless other symptoms develop.
