I had quit using drugs when I found out I was pregnant, I had relapsed once but I am doing fine now. My question is, If my baby is okay and everything in on target where he is suppose to be, can there be something else going on that I am not aware of?
Thanks for your question. There is no way for sure to tell what the long-term effects will be on your child. However, if your child is reaching all of the appropriate growth and development "targets", that is a very good sign. The best advice is to stay in contact with your health care providers in case any new things arise.
