MRI T2-Flair Thyroid cancer Met11/30/2007 |
My MRI without contrast findings states there is a solitary small,non-specific subcortical T2-Flair hyperintensity identified in the posterior aspect of the left frontal lobe. Could this be a thyroid met as I have had a local recurrence of papillary thyroid cancer 5 years ago.
It is appropriate to discuss the MRI findings with your primary oncologist. If you are interested in a second opinion on the MRI findings you are welcome to contact our treatment facility directly. We would be happy to forward a copy of the actual images to our radiology department for evaluation as part of providing you with a second opinion.
