My infant has a mouth sore12/13/2007 |
Hi, Our 15 month old son has a circular white mark on his tongue. It is pretty much a donut shape with nothing in the middle. I am not certain if it hurts him, nor is it associated with any other symptoms. I believe also he has had it before, in a differnet spot on his tongue. He eats normally and is not breastfed. Should we be concerned? And do you have any idea what it could be? Truly, thank you for your time and thoughts!
Thank you for visiting NetWellness. A tongue configuration, however, cannot be diagnosed via an online forum such as this. A professional needs to look at it, probably your pediatrician. I suggest you wipe the tongue with a gauze and look at it each day. If it does not go away in 2-3 days, then you need to have it examined.
