What does MRSA look like?01/04/2008 |
MY FRIEND HAD MERSA...AND NOW I HAVE A PIMPLE LIKE MARK ON MY UNERPIT THAT HURTS. WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR?
Not all pimple-like growths are MRSA. There is no specific skin lesion that tells us it has MRSA growing. Laboratory tests (cultures) will identify that. If the lesion does not resolve in a few days and continues to enlarge or worsen, see a doctor.
