Filling that fell out12/31/2007 |
IT IS FRIDAY NIGHT AND ALL THE DENTIST OFFICES ARE CLOSED. WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU HAD A ROOT CANAL DONE A LONG TIME AGO AND THE FILLING JUST FELL OUT BUT, YOU ARE GETTING YOUR TOOTH PULLED THE NEXT WEEK?
You can get a temporary filling material at some drug stores in the dental/oral care section. It usually consists of a putty that you can put in the hole after rinsing out. If you are planning to have the tooth out soon and getting food trapped in the hole doesn't bother you that much, you probably don't even need to do that.
