What is the average time women have symptoms?01/04/2008 |
DO WOMAN WHO HAVE SURGICAL MENOPAUSE GET THROUGH MENOPAUSE QUICKER. WHAT IS AN AVERAGE MENOPAUSE FOR BOTH TYPES? I HAVE JUST HAD MY OVERIES REMOVED .
No one has compared the duration of symptoms of menopause with surgical versus natural menopause. It is commonly thought that surgical menopause may produce more immediately intense symptoms but whether they last longer than with natural menopause is unknown. As with many conditions, there is a wide spectrum from no symptoms to severe symptoms that eventually taper off to some women having an occasional hot flash forever.
