Are Vitamin D and Calcium Supplements Necessary While Taking Fosamax?01/04/2008 |
I have just started taking Fosomax. Do I need to take Calcium and Vitamin D as well?
It is crucial to take calcium and vitamin D when you are taking Fosamax, but be sure to take it at a different time unless the vitamin D is already in the Fosamax. Fosamax and other drugs like it require adequate calcium and vitamins to work effectively.
