Sonogram shows cysts on my liver01/03/2008 |
Thank you for taking my question.I have had terrible digestive problems for the past 3 months now. I`ve had problems before but I am very worried now. A sonogram said I have "at least 4 CYSTS on my liver, the largest being 1.9 cm". Could this be causing my symptoms which include a lot of terrible diarrhea, discomfort in the stomach, loss of appetite?
I would recommend to have the cysts evaluated by a gastroenterologist or a GI surgeon. Most cyst in the liver are benign and do not cause any problems or symptoms, however, without seeing your ultrasound I would recommend being evaluated by a doctor.
