Normal?01/16/2008 |
I had a graft on lower left side of gums. It has been over a month now and it is still the first thing I feel in the mornings and can feel it constantly. It feels like a nerve was stitched, as there is a piece of tissue that pulls from the graft to the bottom of my teeth, down by the roots. I had another graft done on the top and I do not even feel that it is there... is this right, "normal?" I am to have 5 more surgeries and I cannot imagine my whole face feeling this way.
You should not have this type of pain after one month following surgery. Please visit your periodontist. You may have some type of muscle pull at the surgical area, etc. It is hard for me to determine the cause without seeing you.
