Cleaning teeth01/15/2008 |
we are doing a science project on which toothpaste works best. In doing so we were wondering what is the best product to use for the "teeth". We have read that egg shells work well. Should be hard boil them and would you recommend either white or brown eggs?Thank you
Using egg shells (or brown eggs) works for staining the eggshell and seeing how much stain is removed by using a certain product. For seeing which toothpaste "cleans" the best, I'm not sure what you will be doing…removing stain, plaque, or what? Boiling the eggs does not make a difference as long as the staining of them (i.e.: soaking in tea) is done after they are boiled.
Thanks and good luck with your project.
