Black spot on the inside of my jaw

I have black spot that seems to be inflamed and a small red spot next to it. I have noticed my tooth above the spot aches every so often. I do not have a cavity. The black spot is slightly raised.

Answer:

It would be impossible to say exactly what is going on based on your description of this process. You should be evaluated by a dentist in order to determine what this is.
