Erectile Dysfunction (ED) |
Substitute of Lexapro01/23/2008 |
Sir, I am a male-50 years on lexapro-10 for anxiety and mild depression. While I have been benefitted by the Lexapro-10, but my libido has completely gone so much so I do not have erection. Sir, can you help me by providing suitable alternative to lexapro which does not have this side effect? My wife is 37 years and the situation is no longer acceptable to her. I am in a fix.
This is tough. Many psychiatrists/primary care physicians are resorting to Wellbutrin. They are using Wellbutrin either in addition to your current drug (Lexapro) or substituting Wellbutrin for Lexapro, and removing Lexapro entirely. Hope that helps. Speak to the doc giving you the Lexapro.
