Left pelvic pain and bright red stool02/06/2008 |
It is over one week now that I have pain in my left pelvic area. I have not gone to a doctor since the pain can be relieved by a hot compress. Yesterday morning and this morning too, I had a bloody stool, bright red stool. I also feel slightly pain in my lower back and lower abdomen, all at the left side only. Is my pain and bloody stool connected? What causes this pain and how can I remedy this?
It is not possible to say if all of your signs and symptoms are related. You may need an ultrasound to check your ovaries and a gastrointestinal doctor to evaluate the rectal bleeding.
