Exjade for HH01/22/2008 |
Why will my Doctor NOT prescribe Exjade for my HH? I have to have a catheter in my chest to give blood (second catheter in two years).
Your doctor cannot prescribe Exjade for you because it has not as yet been FDA-approved for the treatment of hemochromatosis.
There is ongoing study here at The Ohio State University where we are using Exjade in a clinical study. Feel free to contact us at 614-293-7517 if you would like to be evaluated for participation in this study.
