Jaw/ear pain01/24/2008 |
For a couple nights now I have noticed some discomfort in the left jaw, right at the joint, in front of the left ear. Just a mild discomfort when opening mouth. Today, there is some mild discomfort in the left ear, painful with putting finger in the ear. No swelling, no sharp pains. But, it does ache when trying to eat. No pain in the mouth/teeth. No headache, no fever, no drainage.
You may want to take some Motrin 3 to 4 times a day (600mg) for a couple of days and put some wet warm compress 3 times a day for 10 to 15 minutes over the affected zone. The pain may go away. If the pain still present go to your dentist to check.
