A friend of mine has recommended using the HealthLight System as a means of speeding up the healing process following the extraction of 4 wisdom teeth. I have been using it with ice and prescribed antibiotics. Wondered whether you had had any commentary on this. Kind regards.
I have never heard of the use of HealthLight in dental treatment. I believe it is an infrared light source. Light energy sources, such as lasers, have been shown to aid and increase the rate of healing. I doubt that it would do any harm, but I have not seen any information that has shown a benefit for this particular situation. There are indications that HealthLight does aid in wound healing.
