does b12 have anything to do with high Platletts
There is no direct relationship between the B12 levels and a high platelet count. Patients who are low in vitamin B12 may end up with a low platelet count, but otherwise there is no direct connection.
There is a group of blood disorders that can result in a high platelet count, and as a secondary effect the B12 level may go up, but they are not directly related.
I would recommend that you ask you doctor why he or she ordered the B12 level in your particular case to help give you a better idea of what your doctor may or may not be concerned about.
