Anxiety and Stress Disorders
Can you get pain in the back and stomach from anxiety? Also tightness in the stomach and I feel so tired can't even get out of the bed.
Anxiety can lead to many physical symptoms, including pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, "numbness" and others. HOWEVER, you should never assume any serious physical concerns are due to stress, anxiety or depression until you have had an evaluation by your primary health care provider. Even if you have a known anxiety disorder, it doesn't mean you can't have an additional problem that might be causing the pain.
Therefore, any time you have new symptoms that are severe enough to interfere with how you want to live your life, or if they continue for more than a few days or a week, you should contact your primary care provider.
